Stonecutters drop new single "Wealth & Power" via MetalSucks

October 17 MetalSucks premiered Stonecutters’ new single.

Few metal albums this year will have as appropriate a title as Carved in Time, the newest offering from Louisville, KY’s Stonecutters. The briefest description of their music would be deathrash in a similar vein to Skeletonwitch and Revocation, but that would also be an oversimplification. Carved in Time draws on influences from across the history of metal, from NWOBHM to classic thrash to death metal to sludge to hardcore to melodeath to… well, you get the idea. Stonecutters expertly synthesize the entirety of metal history into something new, something that’s at once totally destructive and crazy fun, like illegal firecrackers or silently passing gas at a fancy cocktail party.

But don’t just take our word for it — listen for yourself, as today MetalSucks proudly premieres the Timely track “Wealth and Power.”

Singer-Songwriter TATIANA MOROZ Launches World Tour In Advance of New Album "Keep The Faith"

Cryptocurrency enthusiast + social activist engages global audience through new music

Singer-songwriter and activist TATIANA MOROZ is speaking and performing in cities across South America and Europe this November. The tour is in preparation for the launch of unique crowdfunding campaign involving Tatiana Coin (a form of cryptocurrency created by the artist herself) to fund her upcoming album, Keep The Faith.

The 12-song full length tells the story of Tatiana’s journey, and what she’s learned traveling the globe.  Disillusioned with politics, horrified by the unjust Silk Road trial, and inspired by Bitcoin, Keep The Faith is about Tatiana’s journey to do better, and strive for a collective evolution. Since childhood, Tatiana has drawn upon the inspiration of mid-century folk singers and their ability to influence social change through their art.

I'm so excited to hit the road this November! I love to talk about my musical journey, how Tatiana Coin has evolved, the Silk Road case, and activism through technology. It's a great opportunity to illustrate different points through the music as well,” says Tatiana.

On the tour, Tatiana will be engaging audiences on topics important to her including liberty, peace, and artist autonomy through cryptocurrency.

People sometimes seem confused how a musician ended up in this space, but the answer is really simple.  Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies have the ability to change the world, and I believe music has a distinct role to play in shaping our society for the better. There's been so much talk about the elections here in the US, but really, there are far easier ways that we can have more freedom and peace right now. I believe we are at an incredible crossroads in history. I am in a unique position to bridge the gaps, and by encouraging other artists to create their own tokens and get onto the Blockchain, we can help get people communicating, trading, playing, and living.” - Tatiana Moroz
